October 2013 Newsletter
Our October weather is beautiful at the moment. The Springtime on the Mountain Open Gardens Festival was very successful again this year, the open gardens were in great condition and the big crowds would have gone home inspired to spend some time in their own yards.
The Jacarandas are starting to flower and the streets will soon be covered in fallen blooms. The walks in the National Parks are nearly all open and the Visitor Information Centre at North Tamborine can give you specific and current information on the condition of the tracks.
The Tamborine Mountain 2013 Scarecrow Festival is on later in the month (Friday 18th to Sunday 20th October), great fun for adults and children alike. Make it a weekend (stay with us at Tamborine Mountain B&B of course!) and enjoy the entertainment being provided. There will be approximately 200 scarecrows on the Scarecrow Trail. If you can make it up, part of the fun is see if you can spot them all?
With Christmas fast approaching, don’t forget that our Gift Vouchers can be ideal gifts for that special friend or occasion, one or two night stays with your special requests can be arranged.
Pam and I look forward to making you welcome at Tamborine Mountain Bed and Breakfast and to showing you our special part of the Scenic Rim sometime soon.
