February 2013 Newsletter
We have survived “Oswald” without any damage, except for some fallen tree branches etc. Some places on the Mountain had serious damage from large trees coming down, but overall other parts of Queensland and New South Wales have suffered terrible hardship and our thoughts are with them.
Tamborine Mountain Bed and Breakfast will open for guests from Monday 4th February. This will give us time to clean up the gardens and paths.
When you need some “R&R”, come up and stay for a day or longer. Tamborine Mountain is open for business and getting here is no longer a problem, just listen to the road reports or telephone us to check any road closures.
The wineries and restaurants have re-opened, but check with the Visitor Information Centre on +61 7 5545 3200, before heading into the National Parks. The tracks could be damaged or under repair.
Our Gift Vouchers proved very popular as presents over the holidays so please keep them in mind as the ideal present suitable all year round. We are happy to accommodate your individual and special requirements.
Pam and I look forward to making you welcome at Tamborine Mountain Bed and Breakfast sometime soon.
