What a marvelous time to visit Tamborine Mountain. The nights are cool and the days are magnificent. Our fireplace is working overtime and the wood suppliers are flat out keeping everyone supplied with fuel.

However with some warm clothes, a good book, and possibly a drink (or two) in front of the fire, you can spend a truly relaxing couple of hours. During the day, just sitting on the large deck in the warm winter sun admiring the ’best’ view to the Gold Coast is also a very popular way to wind down.

The mountain is looking sooo.. green. The new growth on the mountain trees with all the vibrant colours will start to appear shortly, the birds seem to know in advance that this is coming. Getting out walking in the National Parks at this time of year reminds us locals how lucky we are to live on Tamborine Mountain.
