October 2010 Newsletter

September was very busy on Tamborine Mountain, lots of day visitors and guests staying for one, two nights or longer. There is so much to see and do on Mount Tamborine, you just need more than a day trip to appreciate the views and many activities as well as the amazing array of foods and wines.
One of the must to do visits is the Mount Tamborine Brewery and the Witches Chase Cheese Factory. Both of these attractions are on the corner of Long Road and Eagle Heights Road at the southern end of Gallery Walk. Beautiful cheeses and boutique beers, a great way to while away a couple of hours!
The wide selection of wines available at our local wineries is truly amazing and great food is available at some of them as well as the opportunity to dabble in some wine tasting. Increase your knowledge of wine at the same time as stocking up your wine cellar or buying a gift for someone that also appreciates fine wine.
Definitely more than one day is necessary to try out just some of the attractions of Mt Tamborine. Best to stay a night or two and really tick off some items from the ‘to-do’ list.
If you feel a bit more inclined to appreciate the wonderful plant life and natural rainforests of Tamborine Mountain, then don’t forget to visit the Botanic Gardens and the National Parks (we have had good rain during September and the waterfalls are all flowing). Apart from helping to keep you fit and active, the exertion is all the better to enjoy a delicious meal at one of the many restaurants.
We still have some weekend vacancies during October and midweek vacancies are also available.
Don’t forget our gift vouchers for Christmas or Birthday special treats. We can adjust our Gift Vouchers to suit individual requirements and they can incorporate dinners, wine or bubbly and chocolates.
Looking forward to seeing you on Tamborine Mountain.
