June 2010 Newsletter
Where has the year gone?
Winter is here, and the deciduous trees look spectacular still sporting their autumn colors. The leaves are falling and leaving a very colorful carpet all over the Mountain. With good recent falls of rain the mountain is looking very green and fresh.
The temperatures are dropping and curling up with a good book and a glass of red wine in front of a roaring log fire has to be the way to spend an evening.
Alternatively get a group of friends together and come up and stay at Tamborine Mountain Bed & Breakfast for a couple of days. There is plenty to see and do on the Mountain, check our what’s on page for a full list. The National Park walks are in great condition at this time of the year, and the Wineries, Brewery, Distillery and Restaurants are waiting to welcome you. With a group booking of four couples for two nights we are happy to provide dinner at our Bed and Breakfast on one of the nights or recommend a local restaurant to suit your palate.
The views from our decks are to die for (simply the best!) and the local bird-life will welcome you each morning at breakfast.
For the energetic, Palm Grove National Park is approximately a ten minute walk, where the Wallabies and other native animals can be seen most days.
Looking forward to welcoming you to Tamborine Mountain Bed & Breakfast during the winter months (June, July & August).
