Songs of the Moulin Rouge – Dinner and Concert Mt Tamborine

Moulin Rouge at nightSongs of the Moulin Rouge – Dinner and Concert Mt Tamborine

Mes amis! On Saturday 9th June, Eagle’s Nest presents Songs of the Moulin Rouge! — Paris – the eternal city of romance, and of the Moulin Rouge, Edith Piaf, GiGi and the French Revolution – what a mix!

But there’s no better mix on our French Night than our Crepes Suzettes – it’s now become tradition! Baritone Steve Beck makes a welcome return with his rich voice and wicked sense of humour. Making her Eagle’s Nest debut is the delightful Terri Watters, and of course, maestro on Piano John Woods, to serenade you in a romantic evening of the very best French cabaret and love songs, light classics, musicals and opera.

Be transported to the mystery and elegance of Paris in all her moods: Paris of Piaf, Chevalier, Aznavour – Paris of Stage and Screen with Gigi — Casablanca — Moulin Rouge — Can Can — Phantom of the Opera — The Merry Widow and the epic Les Miserables to name just a few. An evening of indelible French melodies and scenes to tug at the heart strings, and make you laugh, so bring your best Edith Piaf & Maurice Chevalier voice for a Gallic sing-a-long.

Enjoy the culinary character of French cuisine bringing you the tastes and aromas of France to complement the passionate music, the warmth of the log fire, a glass of wine and fabulous company.

C’est Magnifique! At $65 per person including a three course dinner and concert, a night not to be missed!

Bookings are essential on +61 7 5545 2540 or by emailing us

A Touch of Puccini, A Taste of Pavarotti – Dinner and Concert Mt Tamborine

PucciniTake one hot-blooded Italian Opera Composer, a great tenor, the very best arias, and the scent of an Italian kitchen and you get A Touch of Puccini, A Taste of Pavarotti.

Luciano Pavarotti’s love of food equalled his passion for music, and on Saturday May 12th, Eagle’s Nest come alive with a fusion of Pavarotti’s favourite recipes with his best-loved Operatic arias and Neapolitan songs.

Image of Luciano Pavarotti‘One of the very nicest things about life is the way we must regularly stop whatever it is we are doing and devote our attention to eating’, said the great man himself, and that is our recipe at Eagle’s Nest, where the dinner and concert segments are interspersed so there is time to devote your attention to the beautiful music, and then to the enjoyable task of a good meal in congenial company, in the unique setting of Eagle’s Nest.

The overture begins with the maestro’s own recipe, Linguini Pavarotti, light and delicately balanced to set the mood for the lilting opening set of effervescent arias and songs. Act 1, the flavours deepen with Vitello Balsamic, answered with the passion of Puccini, his contemporaries and his rivals! Act 2 reaches a fitting crescendo with Sacripantino, a classic Genoese confection as rich and delicious as Pavarotti’s golden voice, and a perfect Finale with the most melting and romantic arias and duets.

The warm glow of the log fire, a glass of wine, and good company, and to be serenaded by the romantic and uplifting music of these great sons of Italy — this is opera for all the senses!

At $65 per person for a 3-course dinner and concert, this is an evening not to be missed. Bookings essential on +61 7 5545 2540 or by emailing us

Eagle’s Nest is BYO and does not have card facilities. We offer a set menu, so please advise at time of booking of any food intolerance.
